The captain of the Guide had planned her a wonderful trip in the good company of her good friend. Everything was already planned, both of them were looking forward to this expedition. Suddenly, however, the Guide received information from the Admiral that this expedition would harm her and it would be better if it did not happen. Despite the fact that everything was already prepared, the Guide trusted the Admiral. And he had already arranged things so that the expedition did not happen after all.
He could have done so without asking his protégée’s permission. However, he wanted her to voluntarily give up a seemingly so wonderful expedition that was only going to benefit both Agents. If the Admiral had not given the choice to the Guide only to decide for herself, she would have had no benefit from the fact that the expedition had failed. She might even have felt disappointed that it didn’t work out.
However, when the Admiral asked her opinion her benefit is huge. First, she decided to give up something pleasant, and this shapes the spirit. Second, she chose to trust the Admiral, believing in the rightness of his words. Third, she avoided a trap that was probably waiting for her, which she would not have been able to avoid. The trap and its associated consequences. Since the warning came from the Admiral himself the matter must have been serious. Fourth, in return for this trust and right decision, the Guide was extraordinarily blessed with the treasures of the Ray that day.
Applications
How many times when everything was already prepared, we were getting ready for some trip, meeting, party or other activity, and yet our plans were in ruins. How much anger, sadness, worry and regret there was because of this. Though we don’t know if they would have been to our benefit or detriment if those plans had been made. And instead we needed to adopt the attitude of the Guide. To accept that since something did not work out despite the fact that we had prepared everything and the fault of this failure is not ours. That the reason is not our negligence just fortuitous matters over which we have no control. This apparently happened for our benefit. And let us immediately strive for a change of attitude not only to heal us from the pain of failure. Let us strive in order to immediately draw the treasures of comfort from the side of the Rays. And the whole situation will be a lesson for us in the future to feel less and less nerves, sorrow and regret in similar situations. Instead, to draw all the more quickly and all the more easily and all the more to enjoy and benefit from the gifts that in such situations even more from the Rays descend on us.
